RACHAEL PIELOW PA Services
Pricing
Want to know how much you might be spending before you commit to working with me? That’s totally understandable!

Pricing for my services is clear and transparent, with no nasty surprises when you receive the invoice!
Below are two ways of working with me, and the pricing for each.
If you need something different, or more tailored to your business, please let me know.
Ad-hoc Package
Do you have a list of jobs that you need me to take care of, but which aren’t urgent and I can work on in a timely fashion according to my working hours?
If so, book in for the ad-hoc package, and you can use your hours as and when you need them.
This is perfect if you have jobs that need to be done occasionally or sporadically, such as invoicing, quoting, archiving.
Retainer Package
Do you have specific times and dates when you know you’ll need PA support? Perhaps once a week, or for a few hours every day, or once a month to prepare for a Board meeting.
If so, the retainer package is for you. We’ll agree, in advance, a timetable of hours and days worked.
These hours can be in your office, virtually, or in another location.

Travel time

Travel outside of this area will be chargeable at my hourly rate, including travel expenses incurred. This will be agreed in advance.
Package hours
The hours included in a package are for use in that month only, they can not be rolled forward.
If you find yourself needing fewer hours, just let me know ahead of the next month starting.
Expenses incurred
Any expenses incurred during the course of a project will be chargeable. Eligible expenses will be agreed in advance, and if significant, will require payment in advance.
Payment terms
Payment for packages must be made for the month ahead, and no later than the 5th of the month.
Cancellation is at no cost, taking effect from the following month.
Payment for one-off jobs will be invoiced following the completion of the work, or at weekly intervals if it is ongoing. Payment terms are within 14 days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you come to my office?
Yes, I love visiting people in their homes and offices. I do not charge for visits within a 10 mile radius.
Outside of the 10 miles, there would be an added fee, agreed in advance.
What if the project over runs, or I need to add more time?
We can agree a fee for the project and any additional hours at the start.
How does working remotely work?
Whilst a lot of people have only discovered recently – with the lockdowns – that they can work remotely, I already have experience of this.
I started virtual PA work over 10 years ago. It’s actually very simple with technology to do this and with Zoom and other ways of contacting people. It is also possible to do meetings remotely.
However, I am flexible and can do both. I actually prefer to be with people in person.
What hours do you work?
Working for myself on behalf of clients means that my hours of work are flexible.
This is beneficial to both parties as it means I am available outside of the usual 9-5. If a project requires it, I can work weekends.
When are payments due?
Payments are due within 14 days of the invoice date.
If you need a different payment schedule, we can agree that ahead of the work starting.
